Ayesha Dixon

Ayesha came to UCLA in 2019. For over ten years, she has been involved in both the private and public sector dedicated to the advocacy, civic engagement and program development in the field of aging.

In addition to focusing on positive aging, she believes in fostering community and that those who have served the University will continue to have the support of the University.

Ayesha holds both a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Gerontology from USC, and a BA in Sociology from Temple University. Ayesha continued her passion for gerontology by creating innovative programming; such as intergenerational events, facilitating therapeutic art initiatives, and creating community-centered events. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, running, hiking, camping, music, and art.

Lam Luu

Lam immigrated to America as a child and grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Psychology. Lam joined the ERRC in February 2022 as a retirees resources specialist.

In her free time, Lam enjoys watching movies, TV shows, and listening to music. Her hobbies include houseplants, mechanical keyboards, and video games.

Maria Lubrano

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Maria was raised in Los Angeles, where she met and married her high-school sweetheart Joey. Their family includes son Cody, daughter Brandi, and three dogs.

Maria has worked at the Center for nearly three decades. Among her responsibilities are maintaining accounting records, processing reimbursements and bank deposits, assisting with retiree programs and referrals to campus resources, and overseeing financial and material management.

In addition, Maria is a second generation Bruin; Maria’s mother retired from UCLA in 1993. Maria is a graduate of the UCLA Staff Enrichment Program and also volunteers in various capacities. Moreover, she enjoys many family activities and adventures, as well as cooking.
